MOORE, Harry W. - Putnam

Greencastle – Harry W. Moore, 85, a local businessman and politician, died yesterday at Putnam County Hospital.  A lifetime Greencastle resident, he operated Moore Shoes 40 years. A Democrat, Mr. Moore served two terms as clerk of the Putnam County court. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church, Chamber of Commerce, Odd Fellows, Elks and Moose lodges. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Whitaker Funeral Home. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.  Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Maude Moore; two daughters, Mrs. Harry GT. Bee of Greencastle and Mrs. Annice Funk of Indianapolis, wife of Judge Glenn W. Funk, Marion Superior Court, Room 3; a brother, Virgil Moore of Indianapolis; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren. - kz
